Scaling Plan

A prop firm program that increases a funded trader's account size and/or profit split as they demonstrate consistent profitability over multiple payout cycles.

Detailed Explanation

Scaling plans reward successful traders with more capital and better terms. Typical scaling criteria include maintaining profitability over 3–6 consecutive months, achieving a minimum average return, and following all trading rules. Each scaling milestone may increase the account size by 25%–50% and/or raise the profit split. Some firms scale accounts up to $2 million. FTMO's scaling plan, for example, increases accounts by 25% every four months of consistent trading.
